Earlier this month we hosted our second UK Snow Peak Way, at the scenic campsite of Embers Bentley near Lewes, East Sussex.
Firstly we wanted to thank everyone who attended and joined us for a weekend in the sun.
We welcomed over 150 campers this time around, with a host of workshops from several partners and friends.
Our opening ceremony featured the smashing the lid of the sake barrel, as well as using the embers from last year's Snow Peak Way to ignite the fire for this year.
This year we were rejoined by some of our partners from last year including: a sake masterclass with Tazaki Foods; tie-dying with Stain Shade; daily pour-over coffee from Workshop Coffee; Woodwork with Geoffrey Fisher and another two guided rides plus a bike-packing masterclass with our friends from Rapha.
We also introduced some new workshops this year: Natural dying with flowers and food waste with Nana Frank; a tea masterclass with Lou of From Trees and anodising with our retail team.
This was alongside tarp and Takibi demonstrations throughout the weekend to help show our campers how to best get the most from their Snow Peak products.
As the sun set we would gather around one of the community Takibi tarps and strike up conversations with fellow campers, exchanging stories and sake.
Finally we joined together one last time for the closing ceremony which played host to the traditional paper aeroplane competition and we also added an egg and spork race - all with Snow Peak prizes up for grabs for the winners!
We look forward to seeing you all again for Snow Peak Way 2024!
