Founded in 2018, Toned Trout is a Japanese fishing apparel brand based in Minakami-cho, Gunma Prefecture. Nestled at the foot of Mount Ominakami, the birthplace of the Tone River, the brand draws inspiration from its environment and founder, Mr. Fukuyama.
Mr. Fukuyama, a passionate fly fisherman, established Toned Trout with the unique concept of "connecting urban and fishing." This translates into their design philosophy, creating apparel and equipment that caters to both the functionality needed for fishing adventures and the aesthetic that blends seamlessly with modern urban life.
