We recently invited Steve, Cathy, their sons Joe and Jake, and their puppy Ottie to try out some of our gear at a campsite near the small town of East Grinstead.
Though only one hour’s drive from London, it felt a world away from the city, and we all appreciated the chance to spend some time out in nature, as well as a little springtime sun. The family spent the day relaxing, enjoying the surroundings, snacking, and even sunbathing!
Entry 2 Room Elfield: The Classic Tunnel-Shaped Shelter
In the morning, the family enjoyed some coffee and breakfast in the living/dining area of the Entry 2 Room Elfield, created by raising the front panel of the shelter using the awning poles. The area has ample space for our Single Action Table (medium), which comfortably accommodates 4 adults. We also set up the Snow Peak Dog Cot next to the dining space so that Ottie could join in with the fun!
Steve : “The tent is great. It’s big enough for four adults and has extra space for dining and socialising.”
Cathy: “Usually Ottie’s favourite spot is on my lap, but he seems to really like the Snow Peak Dog Cot as well!”
Joe took charge of brewing the coffee using the collapsible Coffee Dripper and the Field Barista kettle.
Joe: “I love making coffee and it definitely tastes much better surrounded by nature!”
