Gifting is a key part of the festive season and most gifts are wrapped in brightly-coloured, often glittery or sparkly paper. It is estimated that in the UK we may throw away over 200,000 miles of wrapping paper each year. So why not try wrapping your gifts a sustainable way and helping reduce this waste - as well as making your gifts look truly stylish?
A Furoshiki is a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth that is used to wrap gifts. To create the look, you can use a cloth, tea towel or a bandana (our Organic Cotton Nordic Bandana works well) for the perfect wrap, and these can be part of the gift - or reused in future.
To finish off, use natural or recyclable items such as pine cones, holly or fern and make you gift stand out from the pile.
