The Pack & Carry fireplace was first conceptualised in Japan after a widespread burn ban, due to the scorch marks left behind by on-ground fires. Tohru Yamai wanted to design a fireplace that protected the ground and could be used anywhere. The Takibi Fire and Grill was born and has enabled thousands of safe campfires for the last 30 years.

TAKIBI Apparel: The Snow Peak Takibi Collection is designed for fire-side use. Made with the fire-resistant fabric aramid, Takibi apparel will protect you from sparks. The collection features a range of styles and pieces to suit your individual preferences and needs.Ensure there are no overhanging branches that could catch a spark. Clear a space around your fire and make sure no flammable materials are nearby. Keep some water close, just in case.
Maintaining & Ending Your Fire:
Never leave the campfire unattended. Don’t burn anything besides wood! When extinguishing your fire, use ample amounts of water until the coals are cool. Mix the coals using a shovel to ensure all parts of the fire are extinguished.
Using safe and responsible campfire practices is one of the best ways to protect our natural environment.
