While we believe gathering around a fire is one of the best ways to enjoy nature, unsafe fire practices have devastating consequences. Here are some tips for a responsible and enjoyable fire.

Never leave the campfire unattended. Don’t burn anything besides wood! When extinguishing your fire, use ample amounts of water until the coals are cool. Mix the coals using a shovel to ensure all parts of the fire are extinguished.
