The Circumstances of last year gave many the time to reflect on what’s important in their lives. A shift is occurring, a need to connect to nature and escape the city. Our SS21 collection is designed for this transition from city to nature, comfortable clothing that is at home in both environments. You’ll discover familiar pieces in new, soft tones of ecru and ivory and updated fabrics amongst brand-new designs created for well-being and living in nature.
The models in our look book are the Kimishima family. A family of four living in Minamiboso, in the Chiba Prefecture, a beautiful place surrounded by mountains and ocean. They practice a life that connects with nature and the blissfulness of waking in the morning, seeing the sunrise reflected in the sea and living everyday life surrounded by beauty. Having grown up in the city and after graduating university, the father, Yuya travelled the world. Working various jobs, discovering Rastafarianism and finally settling in Minamiboso.
Heavily influenced by the Rastafari culture, Yuya now supports his family by working with organic foods, helping run a local organic grocery store and selling crops grown on the family permaculture farm.
The Kimishima family enjoys a life connected to the earth as farmers and their deepest wish is that in a century’s time their grandchildren will be able to make the same choices and remain connected to the earth.
Our Spring / Summer 21 apparel collection will soon be arriving online. Stay tuned.
