At Snow Peak, we don't talk about being the best, or the fastest, or the loudest.
We prefer to celebrate time spent together, helping one another best experience home and camp.
Our long standing friendship with world's leading cycling brand Rapha has been a great reminder of how cycling and camping go hand in hand.
Having launched our collaboration collection with the brand in May of this year, we were keen to support all the bike packers on Rapha's Pennine Rally. As 150 cyclists ventured from Edinburgh to Manchester over a challenging 5 days, we decided they could do with a Snow Peak pit stop and some Japanese noodles.
We headed up to the small village of Alston, in the Peak District, the roads turned to rolling hills and cars became replaced with roaming sheep. The sleepy village came alive with the sound of bike tyres travelling through and the smells of campfire from our Takibis as the riders popped into our site for a break for the heavy terrain.
We showcased our Ivory line of tents in the local site, and opened up our pour over station for the perfect cup of Workshop Coffee.
Hideko and Seb served up cups of udon noodles and Japanese rice pockets for the hungry riders who welcomed a home cooked meal.
A mid day break, to relax on the sofas, regroup, a few hours of Takibi Time to share the tales of the journey.

To celebrate the end of their epic ride, we went to meet the riders at the end of their journey at the Rapha Manchester Clubhouse for a cup of Snow Peak Kubota Seppou sake.

We camped with our Takibi Tarp Octa in Ivory over the fire for spark resistance, our Zekka for the relaxing zone with inner rooms set up for those who needed to rest and the Takibi Tarp Hexa M in Ivory over the coffee station.
With thanks to Rapha for having us, and to @cadence_images for their photos.
