Last month, we hosted the inaugural Snow Peak Way UK.
We wanted to thank all of you who joined us on our weekend at Ember’s, Buckinghamshire, for a series of workshops with our friends and partners.
For our first ever UK Snow Peak Way, our site was packed full of friendly campers who could choose to camp near our activities tent or closer to the quiet backdrop of Claydon House, near the lake.
We enjoyed a host of events including a Sake Masterclass with Tazaki Foods, tie-dying workshops with Stain Shade, flower arranging practice with Niwaki and many more. Those who wanted a more active trip could take their bikes out for a ride with Rapha and discover the countryside in the beautiful weather. Others looking for a more relaxing time could enjoy a delicious cup of freshly-brewed Workshop Coffee and meet friends and neighbours.
Â
In the evenings, we gathered around for Takibi time, a way of deepening our sense of community with other campers and our environment. The sake tent was where we shared stories about our day or talked about the crafts we’d made, pouring for one another and meeting new friends.
The closing ceremony brought us together for one last time at the traditional paper aeroplane competition, led by Tomohiro. The winners went home with Snow Peak gifts and a sense of triumph but everyone left feeling they had learnt something from the weekend - a special connection from camping together.
We hope to see you all next year at Snow Peak Way UK 2023.
